ACHIEVEMENTS OF BRIT IN THE MONTH OF March 2021.

 

  • 500 kCi of Cobalt-60 industrial grade source exported to Grand Holdings SDN BHD, Sepang, Malaysia.
  • Three Nos. of Cobalt-60 teletherapy sources have been supplied to King George Medical University, Lucknow (213 RMM), Medical College Hospital, Trivandrum (206 RMM) and Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital, Tirunelveli (211 RMM). 
  • 2.31 KCi of Ir-192 sources (57 Nos.) have been supplied for radiography cameras.
  • 1675 Tritium Filled Luminous Sources have been supplied to Defence Organisation..
  • 721 Nos. of Technetium Cold Kits have been supplied to various hospitals in country.
  • 54 Nos. of Technetium-99m Generator have been supplied to various hospitals in country..
  • 32.08 Ci of I-131 have been supplied to various hospitals for both diagnostic and therapeutic purpose.
  • 26.40 Ci of FDG-F18 have been supplied to various hospitals for PET scanning.
  • 487.02 Tons of materials (spices, pet feed, herbal raw material, colour powder etc.) have been processed using gamma radiation processing.
  • One Blood Irradiator-2000 (BI-2000CS) supplied to Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad (2775 Ci).

  • 550 KCi of Cobalt-60 industrial-grade sources have been supplied to various Irrdaitors in Country.
  • 6 Nos. of Cobalt-60 teletherapy sources have been supplied to hospitals in country.
  • 1.91 KCi of Ir-192 sources (53 Nos.) have been supplied for radiography cameras.
  • 11,671 Tritium Filled Luminous Sources have been supplied to Defence Organisation.
  • One Blood Irradiator-2000 unit supplied to Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Bangalore.
  • 775 Nos. of Technetium Cold Kits have been supplied to various hospitals in country.
  • 82 Nos. of Technetium-99m Generator have been supplied to various hospitals in country.
  • 49.65 Ci of I-131 have been supplied to various hospitals for both diagnostic and therapeutic purpose.
  • 41.85 Ci of FDG-F18 have been supplied to various hospitals for PET scanning.
  • 758.85 Tons of materials (spices, pet feed, herbal raw material, colour powder etc.) have been processed using gamma radiation processing.
  • MOU signed with M/s.Ansell Sterile Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore and M/s. Krushi Steritech Services Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore for setting up a Gamma Radiation Processing Plant for disinfestation of food products and sterilization of healthcare products.
  • Indigenously designed & developed Cobalt-60 Type B(U) Radiography device (COCAM-120) of maximum capacity of 120 Ci of Cobalt-60 was launched.  Radiography device is designed with hybrid shielding consists of Depleted Uranium (first time used), Tungsten (with indigenously developed Power Metallurgy for tungsten) & Lead.
