ACHIEVEMENTS OF BRIT UPTO NOVEMBER 2019.

Thirteen Nos. of Cobalt-60 teletherapy sources have been supplied to hospitals in India for cancer treatment.
1983 kCi of Cobalt-60 industrial grade sources have been supplied to irradiator plants.
26 kCI of Ir-192 sources (403 Nos). have been supplied for radiography cameras.
12103 Tritium Filled Luminous Sources have been supplied to Defence Organisation.
14824 Nos. of Technetium Cold Kits have been supplied to various hospitals in India
995 Nos. of Technetium-99m Generator have been supplied to various hospitals in India
563 Ci of I-131 have been supplied to various hospitals for both diagnostic and therapeutic purpose.
267 Ci of FDG-F18 have been supplied to various hospitals in Mumbai for PET scanning.
4340  Tons of materials (spices, pet feed, herbal raw material, colour powder etc.) have been processed using gamma radiation processing.
Four Blood Irradiator-2000 units with Cs-137 source have been supplied to hospital.
Two Gamma Chambers-5000 units have been supplied to universities/institutions for research purpose.
Gamma Chamber-5000 unit with 14KCi Source exported to Research and Development Centre for Radiation Technology, Vietnam for research purpose.
1. MOU signed with Department of Agricultural Marketing and Agri Bussiness (DAMAB), Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu for setting up a Gamma Radiation Processing Plant for disinfestation of food products and sterilization of healthcare products at Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu.
2. MOU signed with M/s Akshar Gamma Sterile LLP, Ambernath (E), Maharashtra-421506 for setting up a Gamma Radiation Processing Plant for disinfestation of food products and sterilization of healthcare products.
3. MOU signed with M/s Infrastructure Development Authority, Ministry of Industries (Bihar) for setting up a Gamma Radiation Processing Plant for disinfestation of food products and sterilization of healthcare products at Industrial Area, Fatuha, Patna.
4. M/s Gamma Tech (India) Pvt. Ltd., Nagercoil
1st Consignment of Ruthenium-106 Silver Plaque Source developed for the treatment of eye cancer was supplied to New Delhi Centre for Sight Limited, Hyderabad.
Radioanalytical Testing Services were provided for food samples (Apples) received from Bhutan Agriculture and Food Regulatory Authority and water Samples received from M/s. Varun Beverages, Srilanka.
